Quail's Gate Estate Winery

The tour begins at the wine shop, situated in a historic log cabin built in 1873 for John and Susan Allison. They were one of the very first pioneer families to reside in this area of the Okanagan, and their home, which is still in its original location, was the first permanent structure on the west side of Lake Okanagan. The wine shop is full of historic photos and plaques that tell the story of its first inhabitants.
